Notes - In 1946 Elliot and Dorothy retired to Fisher Hill. They bought a farm between his brother Ralph and sister Marion Wallis. Elliot and Ralph dairy farmed together until Elliot's first heart attack in 1949. After Elliot's death, Dorothy moved to Boston where she worked for reform in education and ran for Boston School Committee. She established "Citizens for Boston Schools." Always summered at Fisher Hills. [1]
